About Us
Three Peas Rattery is located in Center City, Philadelphia and has been breeding
quality pedigreed fancy rats since our inception in 2008. We are a two person
team with a focus on breeding rats for exceptional health, temperament,
behaviour and type.
Our Focus
We choose our breeding stock only after evaluating them for temperament and
personality. All the rats in our breeding program have 3+ generations of
documented parentage- our breeder rats are registered with the North American
Rat Registry (NARR). We monitor the lineage of our does and bucks to ensure
that there are no known hereditary diseases or other health or temperament in
the lines.
We specialize in Blue rats (American Blue and Russian Blue), Burmese (Sable
and Russian Blue Burmese) and Dwarf Rats, although we are still developing
our lines and may have other colours available depending on the litter.

Terri here. I got sick of the limitations on the WYSIWYG editor that was used to
design the current Three Peas site, so I am learning Dreamweaver. There is a
learning curve involved, as the current format was my first experience creating
any sort of webpage. Learning Dreamweaver will allow us to offer a cleaner and
sleeker site with more features. Although it's a lot of work at the outset, it will
enable me to change information in and out much more easily than I can now.
This means more updates, more pictures, and more information and resource
pages, which is well worth the effort.
